Lean Management for Beginners

The LEAN Basic module is aimed at aspiring LEAN experts, those interested in our leadership training and professionals who want to acquire or refresh their basic knowledge of lean management.

The fundamentals of lean management are explained in theory and practice using a neutral example. The course is therefore suitable for employees from the construction industry, mechanical and plant engineering, other manufacturing companies, and indirect (administrative) areas.

Introduction to Operational Processes

  • Fundamentals of lean processes: Goals & basic concepts such as value creation and waste
  • The characteristics of lean processes: freedom from disruption, flow, rhythm, and momentum
  • Just-in-Time Simulation - Round 1: Waste becomes visible - Round 2: Initial optimization takes effect
  • Success factors for continuous improvement
  • Just-in-Time Simulation - Rounds 3 & 4: Now it's flowing
  • Starting points in your own company and work environment
  • Outlook for the following training series
