Lean Management for Improvers: Lean Manager
What is lean management in the context of LEAN Manager? It is a philosophy that aims to reduce waste and maximize value for the customer. You will work with the management team to develop the roadmap for transformation, manage the deployment of lean experts, and train managers and colleagues in Lean Management topics. The Lean Manager tasks also include acting as a cross-functional sparring partner for managers on value stream orientation and extending value stream optimization to suppliers.
At ouracademy, you will learn the relevant lean tools and lean methods in two modules. After the first module, you will take on a practical task to measure the lean maturity level of your organization. "Applying it yourself" is an essential component of successful learning and part of the lean management philosophy. Our trainers will give you tips on this in an online session and answer your questions.

Module 1:
LEAN transformation process
- Lean transformation: Improving value creation and management processes
- Measuring the maturity level of a lean enterprise
Module 2:
The improvement organization as in-house consulting
- Effective approach to improvement projects (continuous improvement process)
- Role of LEAN experts, LEAN managers, and LEAN trainers in the improvement process
self-study
Between modules, you will apply what you have learned in your work environment, thereby gaining important practical experience. You can discuss this with our trainers in an online module. Some topics will be covered through self-study. We firmly believe that self-organized learning is an important skill for the future.Practical task
